As one of the leading maritime education and training institutions in the region, Akademi Laut Malaysia (ALAM) offers the full spectrum of maritime courses including nautical and marine engineering programmes, maritime and offshore safety courses, simulator-based courses and maritime management programmes, as well as research and consultancy services.

About ALAM
ALAM is the leading maritime training academy in Malaysia. Founded in 1977, ALAM has trained thousands of maritime professionals for both onshore and offshore operations. The 67-acre academy and training centre is located on a campus in Melaka, overlooking the busy Straits of Malacca.
ALAM houses internationally benchmarked maritime education and training facilities at its 75-acre campus, including full-mission simulators and specialised labs. Our well-equipped learning facilities, hostels and communal dining hall are designed with the students in mind. With advanced classrooms, workshops and simulation centres, ALAM is committed to providing you with every opportunity to achieve your full potential – professionally, intellectually and socially.
