About
Ship Vetting service focuses on conducting vessel inspections, onboard verification and risk assessment exercise to ensure vessels comply with high level of safety so that only safe and efficient vessels are chartered. This includes inspection and screening of oil and chemical tankers and LNGC for downstream business.
Ship Vetting
Our vetting system produces a report on the status of the vessels – to which charterers and ship owners/operators can verify if the vessels are both well-managed and ready to be deployed. The report is useful as it provides indications to which reduces the risk of incidents and mechanical breakdowns. Through this, charterers and ship owners/operators are able to make informed decisions that lead to improvements in the quality and safety of the vessels in addition to minimising risks to the environment. We have in-house OCIMF-accredited SIRE (Ship Inspection Report Programme) inspectors and conducts over 600 inspections annually.
