CCUS
Our maritime heritage gives us a unique advantage in delivering CCUS at scale. With decades of experience operating complex marine assets, we provide integrated marine solutions to move CO₂ safely and efficiently across the entire value chain. From onboard carbon capture to liquid CO₂ transport and offshore floating assets, we are aiming to deliver a fully integrated maritime and offshore solution. Ammonia
Unlocking ammonia as a low-carbon energy source requires deep expertise and collaboration across the entire value chain. Developing World's First Ammonia Dual-Fuel Aframaxes
Our petroleum shipping arm, AET secured Time Charter Contracts with PETCO Trading Labuan Company Ltd (PTLCL) for two of the world’s first ammonia dual-fuel Aframax tankers. Through these vessels, PTLCL will be able to transport its products to customers around the world while contributing to the industry decarbonisation by utilising ammonia as the cleaner alternative to conventional fuel. These vessels are now being constructed in Dalian Shipbuilding Industry Co., Ltd, a subsidiary of China State Shipbuilding Corporation.

Advancing Cross Border CO2 Transportation
We have established a JV partnership with Petronas CCS Ventures and MOL, to lead the development and act as the ultimate owner of LCO₂ carriers, which are critical for transporting LCO₂ to designated storage sites as part of advancing carbon capture and storage solutions.
Our jointly developed vessel design received the General Approval for Ship Application certification from DNV, establishing it among the most developed Low Pressure Low Temperature LCO2 carrier designs in the industry.

Pioneering Ammonia Powered Vessel via Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cell Technology
Together with Samsung Heavy Industries we have received the Approval in Principlefrom Bureau Veritas Marine & Offshore for our pioneering design of the world’s first ammonia-fuelled LR2 tanker powered by Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cell (PEMFC) technology.
This initiative focuses on the design and development of a large-scale commercial vessel that integrates PEMFC technology. This breakthrough design will enable full-scale power for vessel propulsion, cargo handling, and onboard energy needs, surpassing previous applications, which have been limited to small vessels or auxiliary loads.

Through our partnership with China Offshore Engineering & Technology Company Limited, we have jointly secured Approval in Principle from American Bureau of Shipping for an innovative Ammonia FPSO designed to unlock the unutilised hydrocarbon gas from offshore facilities into high-value Blue Ammonia.

Newbuild LCO₂ Carrier to Support Northern Lights CCS Expansion
In partnership with Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha Ltd, we have secured a long-term Time-Charter Party from Northern Lights JV DA to provide a dedicated Liquefied Carbon Dioxide LCO2 carrier for the next phase of Europe's first open access carbon capture and storage transport and project. This marks our inaugural entry into the LCO2 shipping segment, representing a strategic early move to build specialised carriers that support large-scale CCS deployment.
