Charting Pro.
How does Charting Pro help me manage the scheduling of my digital media? Charting Pro allows you to identify a list of Screens that you wish
to propose or sell to an advertiser for the specified time frame. The
Screens scheduled to this advertiser are then managed in a Subcontract.
Charting Pro takes into account all scheduling on all Subcontracts for
all time frames to identify which Screens still have time available to
sell to other advertisers. Charting Pro also tracks which advertisers
are scheduled on each Screen for each day to help you manage and deploy
your Play Lists.
There are many ways to schedule a Screen to a Subcontract; you can select
a specific Screen, select a number of Screens simultaneously, or you can
let Charting Pro select Screens for you based on your criteria.
To select a specific Screen, Charting Pro will display a filter that
you can use to view a list of Screens that meet your criteria. After selecting
the desired Screen from the list, Charting Pro will allow you add details
about the scheduling, and provide you with the ability to review any conflicts.
You can also schedule multiple Screens at once by dragging and dropping
them onto the Subcontract. Simply create a finder or open either a saved
filter or basket, highlight the desired Screen(s), click, drag and drop
them on to the Subcontract - it's that easy! Screens with no conflicts
will be assigned, while those that have generated conflicts can be reviewed.
Lastly, the Auto Chart feature allows Charting Pro to create a showing
for you. Before you begin, you are given the option to change any criteria
you've set, including the number of screens, advertisement length, and
targeting requirements. When you are ready to select Screens, click the
Auto Chart button. Charting Pro will schedule Screens that meet your criteria
and that do not have any conflicts to the Subcontract. You can then go
in and fine-tune your showing at any time. What a breeze!
Can Charting Pro Digital handle day parting?
Absolutely! Charting Pro is designed to allow you to set up as many day
parts as desired for each Device. Play Lists are then generated for each
day part, allowing you to target different advertisers and content to
the time frame they are best suited for.
In addition to handling day parting, Charting Pro also gives you the
flexibility to manage and schedule multiple windows on each Device. This
allows you to sell ad space, stream content, and display items such as
information tickers - all managed by Charting Pro.
Can I schedule ads of different lengths in Charting Pro?
Yes, you can. In Charting Pro, not only can you manage ads of different
lengths, but you can also manage them all on the same Contract for easy
tracking! Charting Pro's Subcontracts allow you to organize any campaign
into segments that have the same targeting characteristics, including
where, when, what and how long.
To schedule ads of different lengths, simply create a new Subcontract,
enter the valid information (including the length of the clip), schedule
and assign the clip to your screens. It is that easy! Repeat these steps
and create another new subcontract for the second clip of a different
length.
Now that I have scheduled all the showings, how do I organize them for
distribution to my player management system?
It's quite simple, Charting Pro does it all for you! That's right - Charting
Pro automatically creates your Play Lists whenever there is a change in
the list of Slots to be played on a Screen.
The program allows you to easily edit and organize your Play Lists so
that you control the sequence of ads to be played. Charting Pro also provides
you with the ability to apply templates; predefined orders, to your Play
Lists. These templates are especially powerful if you are intermixing
ads with any non-advertising components.
Charting Pro will also monitor your Play Lists to ensure that any proposed
or unapproved items on a play list are not sent to the player management
system.
