Toronto - March 15, 2004 - MISC, the leading provider of outdoor solutions
today announced the Canadian Government has recognized its technology
as groundbreaking and leading edge. The government's Scientific Research
and Experimental Development (SR & ED) program has found Charting
Pro's development has successfully met their criteria.
The SR&ED program is a federal initiative to encourage businesses
to conduct research and development (R&D) that will lead to new, improved,
or technologically advanced products or processes. Work must advance the
understanding of scientific relations or technologies, address scientific
or technological uncertainty, and incorporate a systematic investigation
by qualified personnel.
"Our development of Charting Pro was carefully planned and thought
out from the beginning," says Brent McCaw, Vice President of Research
and Development. "We wanted to take advantage of the latest technology
and leverage it into a powerful framework on which we could develop our
applications. In doing so, Charting Pro provides our clients with an extremely
flexible and powerful application that can be built upon and extended
into other environments such as the Internet."
Charting Pro is MISC's industry leading software system, with a proven
