Toronto - July 19, 2004 - MISC, the leading provider of outdoor solutions
today announced the agreement with Freefone (Toronto, ON) to install Charting
Pro's Inventory Management and Financial modules to manage their growing
number of public courtesy telephones and advertising systems.
Freefone is the only public telephone to provide free local phone calls
and display digital video messages. The unique new advertising medium
targets users and people passing by, offering unparalleled marketing capability
for advertisers and host locations.
As part of Freefone's Canada and United States-wide expansion campaign,
they are targeting high traffic locations such as hospitals, retail, entertainment,
and hospitality venues. The response to date has been tremendous. As such,
they needed a system to manage their growth and integrate business practices,
Charting Pro met those needs.
MISC's enterprise solution will allow all departments to access Freefone's
data using one central database. Freefone can quickly check avails across
its large inventory, avoid conflicts between advertisers on each play
list by checking line of sight functionality, create profiles for each
of their locations and schedule towards that profile, integrate their
billing and leasing needs, and more.
"We are honored to be working with such a company that truly gives
back to the community," explains Nancy Biglow, Marketing & Communications
Manager, MISC. "Freefone offers a unique advertising opportunity
that is being embraced at a rapid pace."
Freefone joins Streetseen Media, euCan, Gallop, Astral Outdoor and many
more outdoor companies as users of MISC's proven technology.
