Clearwater, FL (September 25, 2006) Datex International announces the
release of their new version of Field Service Management System for Out-of-Home
Advertising Industry, Datex EX FSMS Version 2.0, which is being upgraded
in current customers and is available to new customers interested in empowering
their field technicians.
Datex EX FSMS is a custom developed solution for companies in the out-of-home
advertising industry that require immediate field dispatching for posting,
maintenance, or repair services. The system is composed of a host computer
and handheld equipment used by field personnel. It is designed for agencies
concerned with the level of customer satisfaction offered to clients,
the lack of real time information on work orders, and the needless amount
of paperwork done daily.
The software allows field technicians to see work orders, in real time
or through synchronizations with the host computer, by simply scanning
the location. The system then provides them with all the information needed
to complete the order. While in the field, personnel can update the order,
add comments, provide repairs, or create new work orders. This information
is then sent to the host computer providing managers with the most up-to-date
information for each order.
In addition to the management of postings, repairs and all the tools
for field technicians previously developed, the new and improved design
of the application offers five features that will improve productivity.
First, it allows the agency to track the levels of supplies available.
The system alerts you when supplies fall below a certain level previously
established, giving the company time to prepare for future work. It also
offers capabilities of GPS location tracking allowing the company to know
the exact locations of all the posting at all times. Real-time continuous
GPRS synchronization provides up-to-the-minute status of every work order.
The web-based, proof of performance tool lets customers see their postings
in their actual locations. Finally, the web-based Executive Dashboard
is a system designed to provide management with extensive KPIs to identify
areas in the agency needing attention.
