MISA Announces New Charting Pro Release - 1926

Chicago, Illinois - May 19, 2005 - MISA, the leading provider of outdoor IT solutions today announces a new release of Charting Pro. An important part of the service MISA provides for its valued clients, CPRO 1926 represents a major release of the software complete with two new modules, new features, improved features and fixes.

With the release of CPRO 1926, MISA is pleased to offer the advertising industry new functionality to handle both Maintenance and Dynamic Media. The CPRO Maintenance module will allow operations to streamline processes and improve productivity in the field, complete jobs more efficiently, and shorten the billing cycle. Our new Dynamic Media module addresses the needs of emerging electronic media. A seamless extension of CPRO, Dynamic Media allows users to define screen inventory, track and schedule electronic media segments, search for availability and check for conflicts. Both of these new modules are currently in beta and are expected for release later this summer.

A handful of new features found in 1926 include:

  • Ability to assign Rate Card, Gross and Net values to posting schedules
  • Pay periods and service dates can be set on invoices and leases to identify time frames
  • Created On/By and last updated On/By information now available on subcontracts
  • Renewed from contract field added - allows user to identify related contracts
  • New and improved finders with more search options

"New releases are driven by user requirements," states Ivan Belenski, Chief Architect, MISA. "We have developed an issue-tracking system that is based on the same architecture as Charting Pro and allows both Client Services and R&D to manage new feature requests and bug alerts we receive. Our latest release, 1926, addresses over one hundred issues that have been dealt with during the past year. Charting Pro is an evolving piece of software, continuously undergoing incremental growth that is driven by our clients."

Charting Pro users on a gold support plan are eligible to receive the new release at no charge. Beta testing is currently under way and a schedule for implementation is being put together.
